Nursing Adjunct Professor - Part-Time

Applications are currently being accepted for adjunct (part-time) Nursing faculty on a continuous basis. All faculty are expected to engage in effective teaching and assessment of student learning. During the application process you will let us know your preferred teaching disciplines and methods.
Demonstrated expertise is required for teaching in the discipline associated with appointment as an adjunct faculty member; expertise is normally demonstrated by one or more of the following:
Master’s degree in nursing or Bachelor’s degree in nursing with Master’s degree in a health or education related field
Unencumbered Washington Registered Nurse license, or eligible for licensure
Current healthcare provider CPR certification
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to apply a responsive and flexible approach that is supportive to the needs including universal access of our students, faculty staff and the public.

Annual Security Report Notification

The Annual Safety and Fire Report is provided in accordance with the Jeanne Clery Act of 1998 and the associated amendments including the recently adopted Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013. Per Federal Regulations (34 CFR Part 668), it is required that a copy of Eastern Washington University’s Clery Act Report, otherwise known as the Annual Security and Fire Report, be provided to each employee and student. Operations Manager - Dental Hygiene (E99984)

This position plays a critical leadership role in supporting the daily operations of EWU's nationally recognized Dental Hygiene Program and teaching clinic. The Operations Manager reports to the Chair of the Dental Hygiene Department. This individual is the primary assistant to the Chair and future Dental Therapy Program Director and contact for the program. This is a managerial position with responsibilities for staff supervision, budget and resources management. The College of Health Science and Public Health (CHSPH) at Eastern Washington University (EWU) is currently seeking skilled and team-oriented applicants for the following position Dental Assistant 2 (DA2) position in our Dental Hygiene Department (DNHY). The Dental Assistant 2 (DA2) position reports to the Chair of the Dental Hygiene Department and the Operations Manager. This individual performs specialized clerical and technical duties to coordinate and provides patient support services for the Eastern Washington University Department of Dental Hygiene Clinic. This is a 10-month position. This position is designated as fully in-person and requires onsite presence during regular business operations. The Dental Assistant 2 (DA2) position will perform patient treatment and clinic support activities. Under general supervision instruct students in proper use and maintenance of dental clinic equipment, orient new staff to clinic procedures and maintenance, assist with electronic health records and help coordinate support activities, such as patient assignments, scheduling and electronic record maintenance in a dental clinic.
