The Department of Dental Hygiene is housed in a state-of-the-art facility located at Eastern’s Spokane Campus in Spokane, WA.  The department offers the only Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in the state of Washington. The College of Health Science & Public Health at Eastern Washington University (EWU) is currently seeking a full-time Lecturer for the Department of Occupational Therapy. We are inviting applications from qualified occupational therapists to serve as a full-time Lecturer. Appointment for this position will begin on August 16, 2026. This position is a standard 9-month faculty appointment; the academic calendar typically runs from mid-August to mid-May.  This position is designated as fully in-person and requires onsite presence during regular business operations.The Lecturer faculty reports to the Department of Occupational Therapy (DOT) Chair. The full-time Lecturer position will carry a 100% teaching as outlined in the University Collective Bargaining Agreement. Additionally, all faculty are expected to actively participate in student advising and ongoing assessment of student learning. Lecturers play a key role in delivering high-quality graduate instruction, supporting student success through advising and mentorship, and contributing to ongoing assessment of student learning. The Department of Occupational Therapy offers a competitive graduate program for the Master of Occupational Therapy. The MOT program is conducted in a cohort model with 32 students per cohort. The program is completed in 2.5 years. Students complete all academic work during the first two years followed by two 3-month clinical internships. The Department of Occupational Therapy is located within the College of Health Science and Public Health (CHSPH) on the downtown Spokane campus. As a premier college serving the educational needs of the health care practitioners, CHSPH includes nursing, physical therapy, communication sciences and disorders, public health and health administration, wellness and movement sciences, dental hygiene, and Regional Initiatives in Dental Education (RIDE). We are currently seeking skilled and team-oriented applicants for the following position: Director of Advancement Services/EWU Foundation Controller will join a team dedicated to making resources available to the university that help ensure students receive an affordable, quality education and achieve their Eastern degrees, and to principles of continuous improvement. The role is responsible for financial functions of University Advancement and the EWU Foundation financial operations. These duties include advancement and Foundation accounting, budgeting, gift processing, CRM/database administration, financial and fundraising reporting, prospect management, prospect research, and information systems and oversight of the Advancement Services staff. This position represents Advancement as a finance and budget liaison to various departments, organizations, and committees around campus, primarily but not limited to University Budget Committee, Data Management Committee, IT Project Prioritization Committee, EWUAA, EAF. This leader analyzes and leverages data needed to inform organizational strategy across the domains of finances, investment of Foundation funds, uses of donated funds, and revenue forecasting. The position has oversight responsibility for processing and recording all philanthropic gifts and for ensuring practices are in place to allow for timely, accurate donor and gift acknowledgment including thanking, recognizing and stewardship reporting.
